| Some years we have great encounters with sea lions at Isla Afuera at Guadalupe Island, where waves crash against the immense wall and sea lions and divers alike fly back and forth bodysurfing in the surge. The water is so clear that Afuera's cliffs can be seen rising several hundred feet above the surface (right). |
