I recently posted some new images<\/a> from a September 2009 visit to the Bishop Creek and Rock Creek watersheds, as well as a list of resources for learning more about where and when the fall colors can be expected to appear, and how to best photograph Fall Colors in the Eastern Sierra<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n

I’m looking forward to seeing the aspen trees<\/a> (Populus tremuloides<\/a>) again in the Eastern Sierra. Here are a few of my favorites, all photographed in the Bishop Creek Canyon<\/a> watershed at the peak of the 2006 fall color season.<\/p>\n
