The canyonsides around Aspendell are carpeted in groves of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.oceanlight.com\/quaking_aspen_photo.html\">quaking aspens<\/a> (<em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.oceanlight.com\/lightbox.php?sp=Populus_tremuloides\">Populus tremuloides<\/a><\/em>) which glow yellow and orange in autumn.
