{"id":5429,"date":"2012-10-03T21:58:34","date_gmt":"2012-10-04T04:58:34","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.oceanlight.com\/log\/?p=5429"},"modified":"2022-10-24T23:43:40","modified_gmt":"2022-10-24T15:43:40","slug":"unicorn-peak-and-cockscomb-peak-yosemite-national-park","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.oceanlight.com\/log\/unicorn-peak-and-cockscomb-peak-yosemite-national-park.html","title":{"rendered":"Unicorn Peak and Cockscomb Peak, Yosemite National Park"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Some years ago I stood with my young daughter in the far northwest end of Tuolumne Meadows in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.oceanlight.com\/yosemite_national_park_photos.html\">Yosemite National Park<\/a>, watching a group of mule deer graze and enjoying the grassy expanse, when we turned around and realized we had this great view of Unicorn Peak (10,880&#8242; left) and Cockscomb Peak (11,065&#8242; right). I find these to be two of the more distinctive granite rock formations in the Yosemite High Sierra.
